A highly complex and mysterious world of sound in which many\nelements merge: from the encounter between the Jesuits with the original Guarany\npeople, a vastly racially mixed region, creole, Afro, European immigrants and their\naccordion.<br \/>Chamam\u00e9 is a music which was defined as from 1900 onwards by great composers\nsuch as Transito Cocomarola, Ernesto Montiel, Tarrago Ros, Isaco Abitbol among\nothers, and it is what today we know as the Chamam\u00e9 tradition.<\/p><p>This is the language on which we stand, which we love and respect. It is the\nlanguage through which we express ourselves, and which expresses us. It is a\nlanguage of infinite faces; it possesses such overwhelming validity and an\ninexhaustive oral transmission from each generation to the next. The Vera sisters\n(Corrientes), The Nu\u00f1ez (Misiones), Emiliano L\u00f3pez (Buenos Aires) are the living\nand fresh example of this tradition.<br \/>From the composer Igor Stravinsky: \u201cA real tradition is not the relic of a past that\nis irretrievably gone; it is a living force that animates and informs the present\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ddeb4a2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ddeb4a2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Chango Spasiuk septet: Marcos Villalba (Caj\u00f3n, percussion, guitar and voice),\nDiego Arolfo (guitar and lyrics), Pablo Farhat (violin), Heleng de Jong (cello),\nJuan Pablo Navarro (Bass).<\/p><p>The Vera sisters is the only female duo who play Folk and Chamam\u00e9 music; and\nthey have been doing so for over 46 years, with 28 records produced all over Latin\nAmerica. Each year they go over the Chamam\u00e9 circuit of festivals and parties\naround the country, spreading Chamam\u00e9 music wherever they go. They are a\nregistered trademark, an artistic phenomenon which is product of the popular\nwarmth which names them: \u201cCantoras Populares\u201d (popular singers). They have\nbuilt their authenticity as artists based on the freshness, courage, and a\n\ncommitment to the love and life of their roots, as the true owners of a grace given\nby a people rich in grace.<\/p><p>The Nu\u00f1ez: Juan and Marcos, own a very distinctive sound within the music\nspectrum in the northeastern region of Argentina. The basic instruments chosen are\nthe guitar and the bandoneon. They both produce a sound which easily blends in\nwith the rhythm of the regional music. The Nu\u00f1ez bring along the tradition of the\nChamam\u00e9 duets, born in the family, and that comes from playing together since\nthey were kids. Thus coining the original sound which gives birth to this duo that\ngathers the different musical expressions of the region: Chamam\u00e9, schotis,\nRasguido doble, and others, like the Brazilian influenced \u201cBahion\u201d, or the\n\u201cGalopa\u201d from Paraguay.<\/p><p>Emiliano L\u00f3pez: with barely 12 years of age, this kid, who comes from Lomas del\nMirador (Buenos\u00a0Aires province) and a student with Tilo Escobar, amazes the\naudiences with his surprising sound and way of playing the accordion.<\/p><p>H\u00e9ctor S\u00e1nchez, from the Telam news agency: \u201cPure chamam\u00e9 (or \u201cfrom the\nbackyard\u201d, as it is also called), the same which was sang and danced for two\ngenerations is alive and kicking, loaded with a vibrant energy as can be found in\nthe show given by Chango Spasiuk at the Centro Cultural Kirchner. Here he shows\nup side manned by his regular setup, and by luxury invited guests who add life to\nthe party.
